PIA told to submit financial details of upto 10 years
The auditor general on Supreme Court's orders has written a letter to the national flag carrier.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The auditor general on the directives of the Supreme Court of Pakistan has asked the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to submit its financial documents of upto 10 years.
In a letter addressed to the national flag carrier, the AG said PIA received Rs31 billion from the commerce ministry but the management disclosed a sum of Rs23.565 billion rupees.
Moreover, the national flag carrier received Rs177.230 million from the finance ministry but showed Rs175.086 million on papers.
Financial details of upto 10 years have been summoned in this regard.
