A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC), maintaining that the blood money law was misused to secure US gunman Raymond Davis release. The petitioner’s lawyer, Rana Ilmuddin Ghazi, said that there were no signatures of Fahim and Faizan’s heirs on the settlement deeds.He asked the court to take a stern action against those, who were responsible for Davis release.The court summoned the investigation with complete record of the case on April 6.Hearing another petition, the court summoned Attorney General of Pakistan Maulvi Anwarul Haq and Punjab Advocate General Khawaja Haris to explain how Davis could leave Pakistan when his name was included in the Exit Control List.
