CTD foils terror bid, arrests two militants in Gujranwala
The CTD personnel also recovered explosive material from arrested terrorists.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday thwarted a terror bid and arrested two terrorists of banned organization during an operation in Gujranwala, Dunya News reported.
According to details, CTD personnel conducted an operation on intelligence reports near Satellite Town area and arrested two terrorists indentified as Shakil Ahmad and Faraz Sultan.
CTD spokesperson informed media that the arrested terrorists were planning to target residents of Gujranwala. The CTD personnel also recovered explosive material from their possession.
A case has also been registered against alleged terrorists at the CTD police Station Gujranwala.
