The constituency of NA-172 fell vacant following the death of former president Farooq Ahmad Leghari. All the arrangements for the polling have been completed.Three important candidates Shabir Ahmad Leghari of the PPP, Hafiz Abdul Karim of the PML-N and Sardar Awais Ahmad Leghari of the PML-Q are in the run.The number of voters is 3, 97, 858 and 260 polling stations have been set up out of which, 56 have been declared sensitive.Rangers and BMP have been deployed to maintain law and order while the law enforcement agencies have been alerted to control any untoward situation.
