Summary Punjab CM says provincial government is not involved in Davis release.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that PML-N or provincial government was not involved in Raymond Davis release. He said, “If the Punjab government or any provincial official found involved in Davis release, I will resign and will apologise to the nation.”Talking to the media, Shahbaz said that he did not play any role in the release of Raymond Davis. He said that he would disclose what Zardari had said against him (Shahbaz) in a meeting with diplomats. He said that the nation should protest against the drone attacks and the PML-N would lead the procession. He urged the nation to unite to rid off the loans.During the press conference, home secretary showed the Davis’s passport and said that the petitioner had raised six objections but the court rejected the objections. While, Ch Nisar Ali said that the PML-N would raise the issue in the National Assembly adding that the Punjab government should not blamed for judge’s negligence.
