Summary A seven-member team of Chinese experts visited flood-hit Sukkur Barrage to evaluate the damages.
The chief engineer at the barrage briefed the team about the damages caused by the floods. Talking to the media, the Chinese experts said that China always stood beside Pakistan in the hour of need and helped the country by every possible mean.They said that after reviewing the damages, the team would submit its report to the Chinese government so that the repairing could be started. The team will also examine other barrages and embankments to ascertain the extent of damages.
