Summary Indian envoy to Pakistan Sharat Sabharwal welcomed the prime ministers decision of going India.
Sabharwal was the chief guest in a friendly match between the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and the Indian High Commission, in Islamabad. Talking to the media, he said that Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani’s decision of going India to watch the Pakistan-India semi final was a good omen for the bilateral relations of both countries. He hoped that the spectators would surly see a great game of cricket in Mohali on March 30, saying that it did not matter which team would clinch the victory.The Indian envoy said that the Indian High Commission was still receiving visa applications of cricket fans.
