Summary Provincial Civil Service (PCS) officers continued their strike for a fourth day on Thursday.
PCS Officers Association President Rai Manzoor Nasir said that the government was now playing false tactics to make the strike a failure. The officers in the strike are being posted in far flung areas, he alleged.Nasir also alleged that the police and the secret agencies were harassing the PCS officers on strike and said that he would not step back in his efforts. Nasir said that he was not afraid of any action that would be taken against him and will continue to protest until their demands are met. On the other hand, the government has labelled the strike as a failure and claims that work in the offices is going on according to routine.
