Maryam Nawaz withdraws nomination papers from NA-125
RO Asif Bashir returned the nomination papers of Maryam Nawaz.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz on Monday withdrew her nomination papers from NA-125 constituency.
As per details garnered, ex-pm’s Maryam Nawaz’s counsel Tanvir Zia Butt submitted a plea to the Returning Officer (RO) requesting to withdraw the nomination papers of Maryam Nawaz from NA-125.
Maryam Nawaz explained in the plea that she does not want to contest election form NA-125 and also asked not to print her name and symbol on the ballet paper.
After the submission of the plea, RO Asif Bashir returned the nomination papers of Maryam Nawaz submitted from NA-125 constituency.
Earlier there were news that Maryam Nawaz will contest poll from NA-125 as independent candidate.
