ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Accountability court on Monday has extended exemption of ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz for three more days from hearing of references.
During the hearing headed by Justice Mohammad Bashir, the exemption plea of the accused and report of Nawaz’s wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz were submitted.
The deputy prosecutor of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raised objection over the report for not having doctor’s signature. The defence lawyer said that Begum Kulsoom is on ventilator and getting better.
The report stated that Kulsoom Nawaz was shifted to the hospital on June 14 after heart attack, where the doctors said that her kidneys are not working properly.
The lawyer told that the therapy of the patient has begun for further treatment.
