Caretaker PM pays visit to Quaid's mausoleum in Karachi

Interim PM will meet Sindh governor and the caretaker Chief Minister Fazlur Rehaman

KARACHI (Dunya News/Web Desk) – Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Nasir-ul-Mulk on Wednesday has paid a visit to mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as he arrived in Karachi on a day-long visit.

He laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum and offered fateha. The interim PM also recorded his impressions in the book of visitors.

Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair and caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh Fazlur Rehman also accompanied him during the visit.

Later, the interim PM held a meeting with Sindh Governor and the caretaker CM and also chaired a meeting on law and order situation in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Nasir-ul-Mulk said that their aim i to conduct transparent and unbiased election. He maintained that security situation and arrangements during election process in the country will be improved.

Earlier today, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) declared caretaker Prime Minister Justice (R) Nasirul Mulk a millionaire as details showed that he owns excessive assets in Singapore, Britain and Islamabad.

Caretaker PM possesses a property of $ 7 million in Singapore, 2.72 million pounds in Britain, three plots and an apartment in Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad.

He also owns 45 shops in his hometown - Sawat - and he is also partner in flour mill and CNG station with a bank balance of Rs 100 million.

However, he has a debt of about $ 3,80,000.
