RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) – At least a 70-foot-wide breach has been occurred in canal near Liaquatabad.
Cotton and vegetable crop over 100 acres were affected after the happening.
The water has also affected Basta Wagha, Basta Allah Bakhsh its graveyard and Basti Araeen.
The rescue teams reached and started work however, despite efforts of about seven hours the situation is not totally under control yet.
The locals of the area were also busy in putting their efforts to help out the situation.
Every year, the people of the area have to face the same problem but no permanent measure ever taken by the government.
