Sargodha: 7 killed, over 30 hurt in coach, dumper collision

At least seven people were killed when a coach collided with a dumper near Sargodha on Thursday.

SARGODHA (Dunya News) - At least seven people were killed and over 30 other sustained injuries when a coach collided with a dumper near Chak 84-Shumali on the outskirts of Sargodha in the wee hours of Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

Eyewitness said that the accident occurred when the driver of the coach fell asleep and lost control of the vehicle and collided with a truck coming from opposite direction, killing seven persons on the spot and injuring more than 30.

The ill-fated coach was going to Multan from Mandi Bahauddin. Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to District Headquarters Hospital.
