Hot weather to prevail in parts of country: PMD

Temperature in Islamabad and Rawalpindi is likely to hit 41 degrees today

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Hot and dry weather is expected to prevail on (Tuesday) in different parts of country, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted.

According to details, mainly hot and dry weather will continue in Islamabad and Rawalpindi while a shallow westerly wave is present over central and southern areas of the country. The temperature in Islamabad and Rawalpindi is likely to hit 41 degrees.

Meanwhile, PMD has also predicted hot and dry weather in different parts of country especially in central and southern areas, during next three days.
Earlier, on Monday, several upper areas of the country received rain with gusty winds. The maximum rainfall was recorded in Gilgit i.e 24 mm.
However, in Sindh temperature was recorded as 49 degrees in areas of Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Larkana and 48 degrees in Sibi, Mohenjo Daro and Jacobabad.
