Summary Any posting or transfer that has been made after May 31 will be considered void
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Police Deputy Inspector General of Police Babar Bakht Qureshi on Wednesday banned transfers and postings across the province.
The notification was issued on the orders of Punjab IG Police. The ban was imposed following the June 4 orders of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
According to the notification, the ECP in its orders said that, any posting or transfer that has been made after May 31 will be considered void.
The copy of the notification was dispatched to CCPO Lahore, CPOs across the province, RPOs and DPOs.
