Roof of the passenger lounge of New Islamabad Airport leaked due to rain in Islamabad on Tuesday.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Heavy rain in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Tuesday exposed the construction flaws in the newly-inaugurated New Islamabad Airport, Dunya News reported.
Roof of the passenger lounge of New Islamabad Airport leaked due to rain and water accumulated on the floor forcing the passengers to find some dry places to save their luggage from water.
It is worth mentioning here that former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had inaugurated the New Islamabad Airport on May 1, 2018. More than Rs100 billion were spent on this project and its construction started in April 2007.
