Garage in Karachi restores Fatima Jinnah's car
The restoration work on the car has been completed in two years
(Web Desk) – A garage in Karachi restored once Fatima Jinnah-owned 1955 Cadillac series 62 convertible.
The restoration work on the car has been completed and it took almost two years of hard work .
The restoration was completed in seven phases which included complete mechanical work, electrical work, dent and paint, upholstery, steel, and pewter chroming 3M undercoating and detailing by Ceramic Pro Pakistan in Karachi.
According to Mohsin Ikram, owner of the workshop and vintage cars enthusiast, the focus of this restoration was to preserve as many original parts of the car as possible.
The original purpose of this restoration two years ago was to have the car ready so it could be displayed at the National Museum Karachi.
