Forty transgender people will get attend classes in the first phase

(Web Desk) – In a positive development, a first school of its kind for transgenders has been established on Jaranwala Road, Faisalabad.

According to details, 40 members of the transgender community will be imparted education at the school in the first phase.

Students will also be given Rs 2,000 each as a monthly stipend, while those showing good grades will be given prizes by the Anjuman-e-Tajran City.

Project Director Saeeda Noreen said the move was aimed at making transgender people an important part of the society.
