Karachi: NAB raids office of LG govt, arrests three staffers
NAB confiscated important files of construction projects.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday raided offices of Local Government (LG) department and District Municipal Corporation over accusations of irregularities in recruitment and rampant corruption.
As per details garnered, the anti-graft watchdog confiscated important files whereas three employees including private secretary Ramzan Solangi of LG govt’s Secretary were also nabbed.
During raid, staffers of DMC and NAB officials were indulged in heated arguments.
Sources privy to development stated that NAB took away record of key construction projects of the metropolis.
