Summary Rao Anwaar has been transferred to Karachi for the proceeding of the case against him.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former SSP Rao Anwaar has been transferred to Karachi for the proceeding of the case against him after he surrendered to Supreme Court today.
Rao Anwaar was wanted in Naqeeb Mehsud murder case after Chief Justice Pakistan took suo moto notice of the incident.
In previous hearings, the CJP had offered several concessions to the absconding police officer if he voluntarily surrenders. He was wanted in the alleged killing of youth Naqeeb Mehsud in an alleged fake police encounter.
He was taken to Karachi in VIP protocol on airplane.
