Justice Anwarul Haq heard a petition today concerning Abid Boxer which asserted that the life of the ex-cop is in danger as Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah could get him killed in a fake police encounter.
The petitioner urged the court to order for security and protection of Boxer.
The petitioner complained to the court that the police were not disclosing details about his arrival in Pakistan despite repeated requests. However, the court was told by the police that Abid Boxer was not in custody.
The high court has ordered Director of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to file a reply on February 28.
