SHC summons home secretary in missing persons case
Headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, a two-judge bench of the SHC heard the case.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday summoned home secretary on immediate basis in a case filed for the recovery 107 missing persons.
Headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto, a two-judge bench of the SHC expressed severe resentment over lack of development in the case.
SHC remarked that home secretary returns home after having tea in meetings and have no time for signature on the report. “We will make the home secretary stand all day in the court,” the judge said.
“People are swearing over Quran. JITs and task force are just wasting time as they have not been able to do anything. Don’t force us to take extreme action or will send the relevant authorities to jail,” warned SHC.
