Alleged rape victim Aleena denies borrowing Rs 4m from MNA Mujahid
Salman Mujahid should prove his claim of lending her Rs 4million, says the victim.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Alleged rape victim in issue concerning Member of National Assembly (MNA) Salman Mujahid, Aleena, has denied receiving Rs 4million from the former and challenged him to prove his claim.
In an exclusive talk with Dunya News today, Aleena denied MNA Mujahid s claim and claimed innocence in the issue. The alleged victim claimed that Mujahid was angered over her marriage and opposed the step.
Aleena said that the NA member had written to Prime Minister (PM) for her job in a government department.
On the other hand, more pictures of the victim touring Dubai with her mother named Nazia have surfaced and Mujahid has rhetorically questioned the accuser about the means of income that allowed such visits when she allegedly borrowed Rs 4million from him for cancer treatment of her mother.
In her statement today, the alleged victim said that she visited Dubai with her brother and mother and that the MNA should prove his claim of lending her Rs 4million.
Separately, former member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Irum Azeem Farooqi asserted today that alleged rape victim in issue concerning Mujahid had contacted a year ago her seeking help.
Ex-member of the political party has claimed that the alleged victim in the case had sought her help alleging Mujahid of blackmailing her.
Sarim Burney of Sarim Burney Trust has said today that the victim has refused to appear before the media until the provincial government assures her of security and protection.

Sources privy to Sindh Police have reported that a First Information Report (FIR) is lodged against Aleena’s mother in SITE Police Station of Karachi over a payment cheque that was bounced.
The development today in the issue namely Irum Azeem Farooqi’s statement and surfacing of more pictures of the victim has come after a news was covered by the national media earlier in the week about MNA Mujahid having raped a girl in parliament lodges after chief of Sarim Burney Trust came forth seeking help for alleged victim.
Burney had asserted that Aleena was promised a job opportunity by Mujahid before she was called to the parliament lodges in Islamabad to meet him after which he forced himself on her.
The news came days after Salman Mujahid joined Dr Farooq Sattar’s faction of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP) amidst tensions within the political front.
Maintaining a response to the allegations, Salman Mujahid had termed the pictures fake and branded the issue part of a conspiracy to defame him.
