Hearing of Ishaq Dar assets reference underway
Justice Muhammad Bashir expressed desire to solve the case as soon as possible.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Hearing of reference against former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in assets case is underway in accountability court today (Monday).
Justice Mohammad Bashir inquired if the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) head Wajid Zia was available for recording statement. Prosecutor informed the court that he had been summoned to the hearing and will most probably record his statement today.
Speaking to prosecutor National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Justice Muhammad Bashir expressed desire to solve the case as soon as possible, as the JIT and the Supreme Court (SC) both did their respective parts in time.
Justice Bashir also mentioned references case against Sharif family. He suggested that using video link would be beneficial for Sharifs as most of their witnesses dwell abroad.
