LAHORE (Dunya News) – The government has rejected names proposed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for appointment as prosecutor general while the bureau has rejected names proposed by the federal government in a development reported Sunday.

Sources privy to the government have reported that the government has rejected five names proposed by the bureau while NAB chairman rejected all three names forwarded by the government.

Reportedly, the accountability chief has refused to appoint a prosecutor general proposed by the government.

Delay in agreement of the government and NAB over a candidate has caused postponement of important affairs.
