Tank: Funeral prayers of Naqeeb Mehsud offered
Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud will be laid to rest in South Waziristan today (Friday).
TANK (Dunya News) - Funeral prayers of Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud, who was murdered in an extrajudicial encounter in Shah Latif Town of Karachi, was offered at the old Tableeghi centre in Tank on late Thursday night.
Political leaders of various political parties, members of tribal jirga and a large number of residents of Tank attended his funeral prayers. He will be laid to rest in South Waziristan today (Friday).
Naqeeb Mehsud was allegedly among the four suspects killed in an encounter in Karachi with a police team headed by Senior Superintendent of Police Rao Anwar.
Mehsud tribe of South Waziristan also staged a protest against extrajudicial killing of Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud in Tank and blocked the roads.
