Faisalabad: Textile mill owners, workers protest against gas load shedding

As the duration of gas load shedding in industrial sector is increasing, the protest of textile mill owners and workers is also intensifying. Sit-in was staged for the consecutive third day in the city and protesters have announced to surround regional head quarter of Sui Gas, Dunya News reported.

The textile mill owners along with their workers staged a protest at Jhaal Chowk. These protesters kept the traffic blocked on Sumandri Road for almost two hours. When this rally passed by the Railway Road, angry protesters forcefully closed down shops and also damaged billboards installed on the road. The protesters then also staged a sit-in at Chowk Ghanta Ghar for almost an hour. The factory owners and workers have announced to surround regional headquarter of Sui Gas today.
