PML-N's Raza Nasrullah Ghumman resigns from Punjab seat
The member of Punjab Assembly resigned while opposing the party stance in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat matter
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A lawmaker of the ruling Pakistan Muslim Leage-Nawaz (PML-N) from Punjab, Raza Nasrullah Ghumman, resigned from his seat while opposing the party stance in Khatm-e-Nabuwwat matter.
The member of Punjab Assembly from PP-62 in Faisalabad sent his resignation to the speaker on Saturday. He contradicted the PML-N stance on Khatm-e-Nabuwwat during the sit-ins of Tehreek-e-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah.
On the other hand, PML-N’s MNA Nisar Jutt also sent his resignation from the seat NA-81 in Faisalabad to the National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq. He had announced to resign from the parliament for matters pertaining to PML-N’s stance on Khatm-e-Nabuwwat laws during the rally of Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi.
As many as two MNAs and three members of the provincial assembly along with several counselors have contradicted with the party policy regarding Khatm-e-Nabuwwat matter. They had announced to resign from the assemblies during Pir Hameeduddin Sialvi’s rally in Faisalabad.
