Bhakkar: Four injured as Multan-bound Mehr Express derails
The train service at the Kundian-Kot Addu section was also suspended after the accident.
BHAKKAR (Dunya News) – At least four persons, including train driver, sustained injuries as Multan-bound Mehr Express derailed in Shah Alam area near Bhakkar on Friday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Mehr Express going to Multan from Rawalpindi hit a sugarcane-loaded tractor trolley which was stuck at the railway track in Shah Alam area near Bhakkar.
Engine and two bogies of the train derailed after the accident injuring four people including train driver. The train service at the Kundian-Kot Addu section was also suspended as railway track was also damaged in the accident.
