ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) – Interior minister Ahsan Iqbal has urged political and religious parties on Wednesday to avoid promoting politics that is inclusive of sit-ins and agitation.

The federal minister paid a visit to Abbottabad to review construction of a part of Hazara Motorway and on the occasion, he said that politics that is inclusive of agitation weakens the country.

He said that Pakistan needs to strengthen its economy to compete with the world. He said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif is leading a campaign that aims at provision of justice to all the people on the basis of equality.

Interior minister said that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan should quit politics that aims at disturbing the state with sit-ins. China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would change the fate of millions of Pakistanis, he claimed.
