Sheikh Rashid held a meeting with Jahangir Tareen and discussed situation arising after SC verdict.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Friday called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf secretary general Jahangir Tareen and discussed the situation arising after the Supreme Court verdict.

According to sources, Jahangir Tareen stated during the meeting that Supreme Court has disqualified him on technical grounds and not due to corruption. Jahangir Tareen also said that he did not commit any wrongdoing.

Sheikh Rashid advised Jahangir Tareen to wage a legal battle against SC verdict. He also asked the PTI leader to continue his active role in the party and added that his role will be very important in the forthcoming general elections for PTI.
