Balochistan's issues need to be resolved through dialogue: Raisani

Aslam Raisani says CPEC is not in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Balochistan.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Former chief minister Balochistan and PPP leader Nawab Aslam Raisani while talking to Dunya News on Monday said that Balochistan s issues need to be resolved through dialogue.

Nawab Aslam Raisani said that former president Asif Ali Zardari pressurized me to award Reko Diq contract to Tethyan Copper Company and my refusal resulted in differences with the party.

He said that the future of Balochistan is very bright and the people of the province have the capability to handle the Gwadar Port. He said that the reservations of Balochistan will increase further when China will pocket 91 percent of Gwadar Port income and the rest will go to the federal government.

Nawab Aslam Raisani further said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is not in accordance with the aspirations of the people of Balochistan.

Raisai further said that NAB chairman has accused me about buying a hotel worth worth Rs 24 billion in Dubai. He requested NAB to help him in getting the possession of that hotel.
