Summary Government fails a third time to get two third majority in Senate
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) Federal Government has failed once again to get constituencies delimitation bill passed in Senate. For the third time, government has failed to get two third majority’s support in the Senate as members present in the senate were insufficient for a two third majority.
Only 40 members were present in the meeting. 18 members belonged to government while 12 belonged to the opposition. Seeing the situation unfavorable, government didn’t present the bill.
On the other hand, JUI-F’s Hafiz Hamdullah protested and ripped agenda’s copy and walked out when he was not allowed to speak by Senate Chairman.
