Public Accounts Committee reviews audit of Evacuee Trust Property Board
Committee chairman said that investigation is often hindered due to reluctance of institutions to cooperate
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Public Accounts Committee (PAC) reviewed audit of Evacuee Trust Property Board on Tuesday under the supervision of committee chairman Khurshid Shah. The PAC Chairman said that District Housing Authority (DHA) is an official institution which held agreements with Evacuee Trust Property Board but didn’t pay the government after taking the governmental property.
The ETPB didn’t even get the share in plots of the housing scheme. The chairman further said that this matter dates back to year 2009 but no inquiry has been carried out ever since.
The Chairman of the committee pointed out that investigations are often hindered when institutions are reluctant to cooperate.
