A house caught fire in Latifabad area of Hyderabad due to the leakage of gas from water pipes, Dunya News reported.

The dilapidated condition of water supply lines in Latifabad area of Hyderabad has become a big problem for the residents.In Unit No.9 of Latifabad, gas started leaking form water pipeline in a house and caught fire. The residents of the locality could be able to extinguish the fire after an hours’ attempt. The Sui Northern Gas company disconnected the pipeline.Owner of the house Naseer Ahmad told that the incidents of gas leakage from water pipelines were increasing but the concerned departments were not responding properly in this regard.
