Summary Riaz Pirzada had suggested Nawaz to step down and Shehbaz Sharif to take over the party’s leadership
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique and Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Pirzada came face to face in inter-provincial communication meeting today.
Khawaja Saad Rafique complained about his statement regarding PML-N’s leadership and advised him to be patient over the matter.
Riaz Pirzada had suggested Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif to take over party’s leadership, and opined that ex-PM Nawaz Sharif should step down keeping in view corruption cases against him.
It is noteworthy though that Saad Rafique had called Pirzada three days earlier for the same reassurances that his interests and opinions will not be ignored blatently but also advised him to be patient and have faith.
