PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan has finalized arrangements for holding by election on a vacant seat of National Assembly, NA-4 Peshawar on Thursday.
Fourteen candidates including five of various national political parties and nine independents are in the run.
The seat fell vacant due to death of former MNA Gulzar Khan of PTI in August this year.
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to deploy Pakistan Army personnel inside and outside at all the polling stations on the recommendation of the district returning officer.
The armed forces will also protect the transfer of ballot papers from printing press to polling stations.
