Rain, snowfall in different parts of country

Several areas of the country including coastal areas of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, South and central Punjab witnessed light and heavy downpour and snowfall today due to which the weather turned cold.

In Multan, the sporadic rain turned the weather pleasant and citizens enjoyed the change. But, electricity and communication system was badly affected.In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain started pouring last night changed the weather. And people started wearing war clothes. Heavy rain was recorded in Karachi’s different areas including Gulshan Iqbal, Liaquat Abad, Nazim Abad and Shahrah-e-Faisal due to which electricity supply was suspended creating troubles for the citizens.On the other hand, spell of snow falling was continued in the northern areas and Murree and Galiyat. Mountains wore white blanket disappearing all the other colours. A large number of tourists thronged to these areas to enjoy the snow fall. Mingora and Malam Jabba have also seen heavy snow fall.
