ECP serves notices to seven MNAs, MPAs for electioneering code's violation in NA-120

Summary All of the seven lawmakers have been ordered to file replies in the election commission by Sept 20

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued notices to seven National Assembly and provincial assembly members on Friday (September 15) for violation of code of conduct during electioneering in NA-120 constituency.

The notices were served after Returning Officer issued notices to the lawmakers but no replies were filed within the due time.

Senator Pervaiz Rashid, Tala Chaudhry, Shaista Pervez, Maiza Hameed and Saiful Malook of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were served the notices while from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, two politicians were sought explanation off namely Sadia Sohail Rana and Mehmoodur Rahseed.

All of the seven lawmakers have been ordered to file replies in the election commission by September 20.
