Summary Ban will not be applicable to women, elderly people, journalists and children under the age of 12.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - The Government of Sindh on Thursday banned pillion riding on 8th, 9th and 10th Muharram in the province to ensure law and order, Dunya News reported.
The ban is being imposed keeping in view the law and order situation during Muharram-ul-Harram. The ban will not be applicable to women, people with disabilities, elderly people, journalists and children under the age of 12.
According to a notification issued by Sindh Home Department, the provincial government has also imposed ban on exhibition and carrying of arms for 60 days and use of loud speakers in the province.
