Summary Daughter of the ousted premier addressed a labour convention in the provincial capital
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Maryam Nawaz has said on Monday that her mother, candidate of PML-N in NA-120 by-polls, Kulsoom Nawaz struggled against a dictator in 1999 all by herself.
She addressed a labour convention in the provincial capital and during her speech she said that the path that Nawaz Sharif has taken is not an easy won. He urged the workers to act like soldiers of Nawaz Sharif in a war that is about the power of votes.

She said that numerous unoccupied seats in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf s rally in Lahore narrated story of someone s failure. She said that the flocks of people all along the Grand Truck (GT) Road last month from Islamabad to Lahore showed that the people are with Nawaz Sharif and they do not accept his disqualification.
Maryam said that she has brought the review petition over her father s ousting in people s court.
She said that the case was over Panama Leaks and the verdict was delivered on Nawaz Sharif s residence permit (Iqama).
Maryam Nawaz has been leading electioneering in NA-120 constituency following her father s ousting on July 28 by the apex court in a corruption probe.
Wife of the disqualified premier Kulsoom Nawaz is to contest the by-polls that are scheduled for September 17 however, she being in London for treatment of her lymph nodes cancer, Maryam is leading the election campaign.

In a recent udpate, Jamiat Ahle Hadith has announced its support for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the NA-120 by-polls. The religious party leader Senator Sajid Mir declared his complete support for (PML-N) after a meeting with Maryam Nawaz who is leading the campaign of her mother in NA-120 by-polls.
