ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court of Pakistan’s Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan accepted National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) request to record statements from Joint Investigation Team (JIT) members in Panama case, reported Dunya News.

JIT members will record their statements as central witnesses before NAB, sources revealed. The JIT for Panama case included Wajid Zia, Irfan Naeem Mangi, Bilal Rasool, Amer Aziz and a member each from Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI).

It should be mentioned that NAB gave deadline of August 31 to its sub-offices in Lahore and Rawalpindi to prepare references against Sharif family. Sources told that NAB collected strong evidence against sacked premier Nawaz Sharif and his family. NAB’S executive board will make the formal approval before references are filed. The references will be first sent to courts from September 8.
