Islamabad: Traffic plan for PML-N rally issued
Traffic police have advised people to use alternative routes during PML-N rally to avoid difficulty.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Traffic police have issued traffic plan for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rally Which will start from Punjab House and after passing from different roads in Islamabad and Rawalpindi will move towards Lahore via Grand Trunk Road (GT Road).
According to the plan issued by the traffic police on Tuesday, Jinnah Avenue will remain closed for all kind of traffic from D-Chowk to Stock Exchange while Express Highway will remain closed from Khyber Plaza Chowk to Khanna Pul.
The traffic police have advised people, who want to travel to or coming from Blue Area to use Service Road, Fazal Haq Road and Nazim-ud-Din Road. The traffic coming from Karal Chowk will move towards Rawal Dam Chowk via Khanna Pul, Lehtrar Road and Tramri Chowk.
Meanwhile, the Murree Road will also remain closed from Rawal Dam Chowk to Daizabad while the traffic from Faisal Avenue to Rawalpindi will pass through Margala Road and Ninth Avenue.
