ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senator Rehman Malik has announced on Wednesday to tell the whole truth in his appearance before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for Panama case probe, and that he would stick to what’s written in the report.

The senator talked to a press conference in the capital today where he made an appeal to the Chief Justice Supreme Court Justice Saqib Nisar to hear the murder case of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on fast-track trial. He expressed grief on the delayed justice for the PPP leader.

He told that he had written three letters to JIT. The PPP leader is fully prepared for his appearance before JIT on June 23. He said he is preparing the report as his party will not use the case for political gains. “I suggest PM Nawaz to bring forth his lawyers and not his party (PML-N) leaders,” he said. Rehman Malik made it clear that he would appear before the JIT as former Additional Direction General of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Talking about the case of convicted Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav in International Court of Justice (ICJ), Rehman Malik appealed to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on paying the dues and quickly getting over the trial. He also vouched for the resolution of Saudi-Qatar diplomatic crisis and suggested Pakistan should mediate the dialogue.
