PTDC MD enraged after denied entry to Judicial Academy
Chaudhry Ghafoor gave threats to Islamabad police apart from abusing the DSP at the gate
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Managing Director Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor became furious on not being allowed to enter the Judicial Academy on Friday as he threatened and abused the Islamabad police.
He singled out the Police DSP on duty and asked whether the country was owned by his father. “We are here for our leader. Is the country owned by your father?” he said in an infuriated, loud voice. With this, he started abusing the police officers in a verbal confrontation.
Police have registered a case against Ghafoor for abusing the officials and threatening of severe consequences.
Moreover, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah also made a remark on Joint Investigation Team (JIT) tasked by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to probe Panama case. He said it appears as if the JIT wants to be attacked.
