MULTAN (Dunya News) – According to details, fire broke out at a mobil oil factory at the Vehari in Multan on Tuesday which very quickly engulfed three containers and hundreds of drums.
Fire brigade and rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operation. Several houses and shops in the vicinity were evacuated due to explosions in the mobil oil drums.
At least 16 vehicles of Rescue 1122, and two from Civil Aviation took part in the operation and brought the fire under control after an hectic effort of nine hours.
No loss of life was reported in the fire. However, valuables worth millions of rupees were destroyed in the blaze. At least three nearby houses and five shops were also destroyed in the fire.
