KARACHI (Dunya News) - Goods transporters have announced to stop supply of goods in Karachi with immediate effect, Dunya News reported.
Goods transporters were protesting the ban imposed by the Sindh High Court on the entry of heavy traffic in the city. They said that the alternative route to enter the city is 180km longer than the previous route of 8km causing great increase in the cost.
Goods transporters were of the view that delivery of goods in the city was not possible under present circumstances. They demanded of the authorities to provide alternative route or fix a time for entry of heavy traffic in the city.
