Summary Relatives and neighbours protested outside the police station keeping the dead body in front
FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – A seven-year-old girl died on Saturday falling into an open manhole. The relatives and the neighbours kept the dead body outside the police station and protested, reported Dunya News.
The incident took place in the Union Council of Faisalabad’s mayor. The relatives also burnt tyres to record their protest.
Malaika, the unfortunate girl, went out into the street in Faisalabad Mayor Razzaq Malik’s UC and fell into an open manhole. She was shifted immediately to Allied Hospital but couldn’t survive.
Such incidents have taken place in the past as well but the district administration, just like this time, remains indifferent to the plight of the helpless citizens.
