JI protest against K-Electric continues on second day
JI chief Sirajul Haq is likely to attend the protest today.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) protest against K-Electric’s loadshedding and overbilling continues outside Governor House in Karachi on Sunday.
The protest led by Hafiz Naeemur Rehman began yesterday evening and is still underway. JI chief Sirajul Haq is likely to attend the protest today.
The party has announced to carry on the protest till their demands are fulfilled. They have urged the federal and provincial government to return millions of rupees of Karachi people.
The provincial capital in reeling under unannounced and prolonged hours of power cut making it difficult for people to manage their daily lives.
