Afghan Transit Trade Pact to come into force on Feb 12: Fahim

Federal Minister of commerce Amin Fahim said that trade under Afghan Transit Trade Agreement would be started on February 12. In a press conference in Islamabad, Amin Fahim said that as per the agreement, Afghanistan will be provided Pakistan land routes for trade with India and in return, Pakistan will get 17 Afghan routes for trade with Central Asia. He explained that India will not get any Pakistani routes as per the pact. He said that first meeting of Export Promotion and Development Board.
